Service Description

Dining Services Support includes education (in-services as needed), training of staff, kitchen safety and sanitation. Our RDs are trained to review and approve menus, but have the capability to help with menu development, if desired. This can include recipe analysis as well. Our RDs have successfully implemented all IDDSI textures to ensure that best practices are always provided. CDS RDs are well versed in State Food Code and will complete sanitation audits of the kitchen to ensure food safety and sanitation are a priority to help reduce the risk of food-borne illness. The sanitation audits include everything from receiving and storage of foods to proper cooking and temperatures to cooling/use of leftovers and cleanup/sanitation.
